JONATHAN R. DAVIS is a Senior Associate at Richardson|Ober LLP where his practice focuses on real estate, community associations, construction and general civil litigation. Jonathan counsels a broad array of clients — including investors, brokers, agents, managers, homeowners and community associations – on all aspects of real estate, including commercial leasing disputes, ADA and FEHA compliance, enforcement actions, premises liability, and appeals. Jonathan relishes the variety that a real estate practice offers, because of the opportunity for new challenges and exploration of multiple areas of law.

When it comes to resolving real estate disputes and litigation, the stakes and emotions tend to run high so you want your legal representative to have an abundance of patience and resilience while handling your matter. Jonathan has built his reputation on being able to effectively argue and negotiate with dignity and professionalism.

One of the ways Jonathan is able to accomplish that is to also maintain a balance between work and home life, which includes travel and a love of cars, architecture and photography.

After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from The Ohio State University, Jonathan moved west to earn his J.D. at the University of Southern California Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2010 and Nevada in 2014. Prior to joining R|O|D, Jonathan handled whistleblower claims under the False Claims Act and worked as counsel with a Los Angeles-based construction litigation law firm, handling complex real estate and construction defect matters.

Jonathan is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar.
